'Insidious Mind Control' Cassette
..In 1996 Duncan and Emil met at Warren Wilson College and their friendship swirled down a dastardly & storied path (diagrammed in great detail on both of their podcasts). Back in their school days, they'd meet up in the Emil's room and use his handheld recorder to 'terrorize' the surrounding woodsy businesses in Swannanoa and Asheville, North Carolina. Because the school's phone system used an old school switchboard, there was no way to identify which room the calls were coming from. Alas, when a victim tried to trace the call, they would just reach the switchboard operator who had no idea what was going on. Now, for the first time ever, these classic prank calls recorded from '96 to '98 have been pressed into a physical format.
